If you are early CM then I have room for one car... OSP dahlink!

Otherwise, it's not too bad especially during the day.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 07/02/2006 21:24

That space is already mine CM, sorry!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 07/02/2006 21:28

Interview went ok - thank you for asking Mars, HM and Floss .

I dont think ive got it though. They rang me earlier today to ask me to come an hour earlier and i just couldnt - any other day would have been fine but not today. When i said i'll try to come earlier but childcare arrangements blah blah blah the woman said "oh? you have a child?"

The audio typing test was fine. Apparently i was the only person to realise that there was more than one letter on the tape so thats gotta be good. However the typing test lasted longer than the interview (interview was about 10 mins tops). Again there were 3 questions/comments about being available at short notice for sick cover/holiday cover etc. Including a question that went like this....."What would you say if someone went home sick and we asked you to stay late to cover?"

Oh well, its all good experience i guess.

MarsOnLife · 07/02/2006 21:30

Well... well done you!

if you don't get this it's cos there's something better waiting!

bubble99 · 07/02/2006 22:47

It sounds as though it went well, VVV.

What did you say in response to the last question??

VeniVidiVickiQV · 07/02/2006 23:16

Thanks ML and Bubble.

bubble - i said "well, you should say yes"......

hunkermunker · 08/02/2006 13:51

OK, sling has arrived (need to work out how to use it though!), DS1 is catered for and I will be on the tube tomorrow morning... Can I sleep when I get there?

Really looking forward to seeing you all!

MarsOnLife · 08/02/2006 14:03

Of course you can darling... but not in my room. That's currently masquerading as the loft!

Glad the sling arrived. Have given the other away to a friend who is having a baby in 6 weeks. She may want me to doula for her. Fingers crossed cos then that will be 2!

chicagomum · 08/02/2006 14:06

Fantasic Hunker . I am really looking forward to tomorrow, although I really shouldn't be coming as we've got soo much to do before our holiday on friday.

MarsOnLife · 08/02/2006 17:25

I thought I'd attempt to clear up a bit as you're all descending tomorrow. The DTs decided to help.

Mars: clean kitchen, bake cakes, bring out some baby toys.

DT1: takes broom and dustpan and deposits them in the garden

DT2: throws a few eggs on the floor, mixes in a bag of caster sugar.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... maybe I'll leave things and you take us as you find us.

Ah the joys!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/02/2006 18:45

Honestly mars, was there a point to tidying up when you've got about 12 kids coming round?

Glad you can come HM

hunkermunker · 08/02/2006 18:51

Aw, DT2 was trying to make lemon drizzle cake, ML!

Just tried tying said sling... Will try again when baby awake, but oh dear, it's tricky. Will get the hang of it before tomorrow...I hope!

starlover · 08/02/2006 19:08

So I'm aiming to be there for 11am? Place your bets on whether I'll actually make it for then...! (I'm betting against, btw )

motherfunkerhunkermunker · 08/02/2006 20:17

VVV, did you mean that re a lift home, btw? It's quite out of your way. Will totally understand if you don't want to!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/02/2006 20:29

No, i dont mind at all. I know how it is to feel 'stranded' for want of a better word. (It is just you and DS2 though right? my car is a 5 seater only thats all - id love to see DS1 again )

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/02/2006 20:32
