Saw this discussed on the Sophie's baby thread, (I think)and wondered whether anyone has identified a family friendly demo? Anyone going to the big one on Thursday?
(First meet-up of the MN Republican party?)

We went to see Michael Moore at the Roundhouse a few months ago. He was fantastic and very funny although I had misgivings about going as didn't fancy blanket anti-USA rant. I kept expecting him to say what he DOES like about AMerica/being American as he clearly is very much so, he didn't. I haven't read SWM book although I own it, too many others gathering dust, got Bowling for Columbine DVD also waiting for time when proper attention can be given.
I WILL be going into Central London all this week as I have to for school run and anyway, NO-ONE is going to stop me going about my normal business!

Sorry! Slow, therefore busy, MN!

I would like to be there on Thursday, but I have a baby to look after. I sent dh to the February demo on our behalf, but he has too many work commitments to go to this one. DD is doing her bit. She is 10 months old and is trying out lots of new sounds. For most of the weekend, she kept saying 'Bush, Bush'. I agree about David Aaronovitch. We need a word for a syndrome where ex-lefties get all excited when they discover they have become conservative and start foaming at the mouth - the Melanie Phillips Syndrome, perhaps.
