Right then girlies, who fancies a lunch meet late Sept/early Oct? My dates are fairly limited but can anyone suggest any dates? Or shall i post when I can do and go from there?

Been trying to ring the feckers for two days! if anyone else wants a go please feel free, but I've not had to give any credit card details or owt so there's little they can do if we just don't turn up!

Table booked at Strada in my name at 2.30 tomorrow Sat 8 October. 160 North St Brighton BN1 1EZ. I know some of you are coming at 3 and that's fine, can't imagine will even have looked at menus by 3!

Meet ing for drinks beforehand from 1.30 -2.30 at All Bar One (used to be Haha) so think we all know it.

Looks like the bloody kids have thrown a spanner in the works for me
DC4 throwing up all night and DH is not particularly good with puke and now DC2 HAS to come home from boarding school this weekend at lunchtime today as she HAS to make serious decisions about which sixth form to go to and which subjects to do and apparently it cannot wait! Bloody kids. If DC4 perks up in the next few hours I'll try to escape.

Aaaagghhhhhhh, I completely forgot about this! If I can organise a sitter, who should I ask for at Strada? I am tallish, fatish and dark-haired ish, also a bit short sighted, so if you see a woman peering around looking, looking, looking around for the telltale signs of a MNetter, that will be me!

OK, I got to the London Xmas thread, but chickened out. We're just so busy with uni (and so skint being students!) I really can't justify the time (and expense) to go up to London, stay over and write the next day off (a hangover would be inevitable - no willpower )

So, my cunning plan is that I'll help organise a Brighton one instead, I'll start a new thread and see who's up for it ...
