What time does it kick off? I'll be there at about 7.30pm (with my guitar, of course )

I need to pre-book a cab home. What time do you reckon I should book it for? It could go pear-shaped either way, I reckon. If I book it too early, and I'm engaged in sparkling conversation, I'll be P'd off that I'm leaving. If, however I 'blow my boats' as Mr Bubble is fond of saying and drink too much, get rowdy and insist on singing; I'll be sitting there feeling embarrassed and wishing I could 'get me coat' and leave.
