couldn;'t be doing without my shopping basket though!

Hazellnut · 17/11/2005 22:06

Actually I agree about the older children - I saw one the other day and it didn't look right but... you should see dd in her foot muff which almost covers her entirely - its ssooooooo cute....

Anyway, if you're good I shall let you have a push of my Zapp on 8 December !!

Hmm, sounds like the in laws have the week planned with miltary precision! Not sure what spare time I'll have so go ahead & organise and if I can make it I will. Don't know London well, where is this Giraffe place - anywhere near Elephant & Castle (sorry, v lame joke).

Hazellnut · 18/11/2005 20:03

Giraffe is near Waterloo station. Even if you can pop along for a coffee or something it would be great to meet you - it'd be a shame to miss you when you are in the area !! But understand it might be difficult explaining to the in laws that you have a pressing engagement with a load of women you've been talking to on the internet for a year !!

All sounds very exciting but not very practical for me near Cambridge...look forward to hearing all about it!

roosmum · 18/11/2005 20:29

so this is where all the feb mums are hanging out!

all sounds v. exciting, & i'd LOVE to meet you all, & babes too (& to introduce you to my nipple munching little angel!).
BUT, being up in york....hmmm, it's theoretically poss for me to get to london, but the idea of attempting it with roo (by train) kinda chills the blood a bit!
did i hear something abt a midland meetup? that would be v. good of youlondon bunch - if you're all still talking by then, having actually met up
very of you people within striking distance of the city & feeling v. parochial stuck oop here on my own (no, actually i'm not northern, i'm welsh tho apparently don't sound it!!)

starlover · 18/11/2005 21:02

ooh rosmum where you from? i used to frequent cardiff in my late teens, what with being a huge manics fan n all that!

roosmum · 18/11/2005 21:04

near swansea, via brighton!
my parents still live there (s wales) as does some of dh's family. in laws are n wales.

Hazellnut · 18/11/2005 21:06

i was born there, lived in hove for a while.
my earliest memory is of the waves on pebbled beach.

Hazellnut · 18/11/2005 21:13

I was actually born in Hastings but moved to Brighton aged 4 and my parents still live there... Its where I'd really like to live when I can persuade dh to quit the city !!

snufflepuss · 18/11/2005 21:13

Hazellnut · 18/11/2005 21:14

Of course Snufflepuss - she can be in charge of the creche !!

OP posts:
starlover · 18/11/2005 21:14

and i have driven through york!

roosmum · 18/11/2005 21:16

snufflepuss, i won't be there but i'm sure dd1 will be v. welcome

snufflepuss · 18/11/2005 21:21

DD1 in charge of a creche... hmmm don't think so, I'd have to take her out of her straight jacket and other restraints

starlover · 18/11/2005 23:00

hey what time we going to meet?

starlover · 20/11/2005 21:32
