tabitha · 03/10/2003 16:08

I've only just discovered this thread (have been away with work for a few days)and would be interested in coming along too. I missed last years meet-up because I was on holiday and the August one because I was in the middle of moving house.
I work full time but not too far from Haymarket station so should be able to come to Marcos for little while at lunchtime, around 12ish.
Look forward to seeing you all there.

JanHR · 03/10/2003 16:17

LOobie, I will have DD in her pushchair. I have short dark hair and will probably be wearing my teddy bear fleece jacket

applepie · 03/10/2003 22:09

Hi - sorry you can't make it M2T. Looking forward to meeting you all - rubyone, JanHR, tabitha, Loobie and Debbiej. This feels stangely like a blind date - I will wear a red carnation and be carrying a copy of the times Seriously, I have long curly brown hair, probably in ponytail and hopefully wearing something clean, so don't know what on earth that will be then.
Here's a map link
link - hope it works - will post directions if it doesnot.

debbiej · 05/10/2003 14:52

I'll turn up at Marcos and wander around asking 'are you from mumsnet?' to any likely looking souls!!! I'll find you eventually!!! See you there.

rubyone · 05/10/2003 16:07

I've got a very bright pink and white check coat so could wear that - it's unmissable

See you all there!

I helped organise the last meet up in Edinburgh (at Agenda) - even though I'm from Glasgow! I'm sorry I can't make it along on Thursday - I work full time - but I hope you all have a great time!

Loobie · 20/10/2003 21:43

suedonim · 20/10/2003 23:22

Have a good time, everyone. I'll be in Edin on Thurs but don't think I'll be able to make it to the meet-up, unfortunately - got too much shopping to do!

debbiej · 23/10/2003 08:59

sorry, but I can't make it today!! Have been fighting off a cold, but it seems to have won. Makes a change me having the sniffles instead of ds! Have a nice time and hope to see you all at the next one!!!

Hello fellow mumsnet meeters!

It was great to see you all and I enjoyed my work-out at Marcos! How long did you all stay in the end? Sorry I had to dash off but I had an appointment.

We must do it again sometime.

Hi there, we played til one and went downstairs for lunch - scrummy chips! Likewise, really nice to meet you all and see you in the flesh.

JanHR · 23/10/2003 20:01

Hi there,
It was good to meet you all today. DD was worn out after all that running around. She slept for about an hour and a half whilst Loobie and I went into the city centre.
Mum picked us up from the station then went to the Brewers Fayre for tea.
DD is now sound asleep.
Hope to see you all again when I am up visiting mum next year

rubyone · 23/10/2003 20:33

DS was so hyped up he didn't sleep at all this afternoon - it was that yellow slide coming out of the big boot that did it -he was quite obsessed....

Thankfully went out like a light tonight - hurray!
