GetOrfMoiLand · 21/03/2011 09:45

Thanks Methods - have messaged you back.

TSC - yes, we will be the careworn mothers of teenager girls stood in the corner grumbling Grin

FellatioNelson · 21/03/2011 10:09

Sorry to be really dim, but I know we have Paypal for Ebay so does that mean we have a Paypal account full stop? I have not idea how I send a payment through Paypal unless I'm on Ebay. Confused

GetOrfMoiLand · 21/03/2011 11:02

I have absolutely no idea re paypal either Fellatio, but methods has PM'd me the bank transfer details, I will forward them to you.

There are such a lovely lot of MNers going to this meetup, I can't wait.

methodsandmaterials · 21/03/2011 11:54

PAYPAL INSTRUCTIONS

Go to Paypal

In the top right-hand corner, click on Log in.

Enter your log in details

You should then be taken to your Paypal account. Across the top there is a clickable menu, click on "Send Money"

The email address to send payment to is [email protected] and the amount to send is £15.00

In the Purchase / Personal, pick what you like. I'm not sure what to advise here.

Continue and you should be away!! I'll get an email confirmation when payment has been processed and then I'll send you a link to the FB group. You don't have to join the group if you'd prefer not to, it's completely optional.

If you do not have Paypal, PM me and I'll send you bank details for a transfer.

Then sit back and look forward to a brilliant night with Mumsnet's finest!

FellatioNelson · 21/03/2011 13:00

Right then, I've done it. I'm an official FoSho. Grin

I'm a bit confused about the facebook thing - does it link to our personal FB accounts or are we to have a separate account in our MN guise?

methodsandmaterials · 21/03/2011 13:10

I'lll PM you the link to the group and then you can join using whichever profile you like. Most people are in there using their normal profiles but there are a couple who have chosen to remain incognito.
Obviously, you don't have to join the group if you'd prefer not to,
Completely awesome that you're coming!
Grin

FellatioNelson · 21/03/2011 13:58

I just sent a request to join, then accidentally cancelled it so had to send it again. Just thought I'd explain in case it didn't make sense at your end. Confused

FYI everybody, it's a closed group and only us lot can see any comments made on it, so there should be no embarrassing link from MN to RL, and providing your profile is set to private the other MNers in the group can see your profile photo but nothing else.

(for those neurotic types among us who like to remain mysterious. Smile)

You all look worryingly young and gorgeous. Tell me, is it realistic to get a facelift and lose 2 stone in 8 weeks?

LadyOfTheManor · 21/03/2011 14:00

FN- I'm not sure but if you find a way, please let me know.

Also where I can buy a Vera Wang dress and Mulberry bag for £50 would be helpful too.

FellatioNelson · 21/03/2011 14:04

Gawd - just think, 8 weeks of angst over what to wear. Not flashy or too try-hard, not too casual, if I wear skinny jeans I'll look like a fat fright and if I wear bootlegs I'll get pelted with rotten fruit. If I wear Monsoon Getorf will disown me. What to do? Confused

LadyOfTheManor · 21/03/2011 14:04

I'm wearing nothing but a sandwich board. That should solve it.

FellatioNelson · 21/03/2011 14:07

And if I wear very high heels I'll fall over when drunk, and if I don't wear very high heels I won't be able to reach Getorf to snog her.

LadyOfTheManor · 21/03/2011 14:09

I'm awaiting people to book a hotel room with. I don't want to leave it too late. If all goes tits up I have to stay at my brothers in halls...in New Cross...and I don't fancy getting stabbed.

FellatioNelson · 21/03/2011 14:18

Why on earth not Lady? If it's good enough for the decent folks of New Cross it's good enough for you, I say.

FellatioNelson · 21/03/2011 14:19

I can't help you I'm afraid - I'm not staying.

BecauseImWorthIt · 21/03/2011 14:34

Fellatio - at 51 I don't really think I qualify as young any more!

LadyOfTheManor · 21/03/2011 14:35

The good folks of New Cross are wise enough to be in their houses by 9pm.

GetOrfMoiLand · 21/03/2011 14:40

I am not staying either. DP has kindly agreed to skulk around Harlesden with old friends until I summon my carriage.

I have already chosen what I am going to wear - a French Connection dress I bought last week for a work event I have this Thursday. £180 reduced to £25! Mind you it is skin tight so I won't be eating anything for weeks, or will be buying magic knickers to hold me in.

fellatio - I will be wearing platforms anyway, so you still won't reach Grin

LadyOfTheManor · 21/03/2011 14:52

Right well my mum has just been on the phone (she's making the quilt for Edgar) and said and I quote;

"Well I can't have you homeless. I shall come and make your father pay for a lovely hotel". Yippee!

SO Methods, I just need the paypal info again to buy her a ticket (she does use MN but only lurks on the threads that no one reads...!)

LadyOfTheManor · 21/03/2011 14:56

Oh and she's only 52 so she'll be more your ages!

methodsandmaterials · 21/03/2011 15:01

lotm, glad your accomodation has been sorted out. Paypal details are in the post I made today at 11:54. You'll find it all there!

bigTillyMint · 21/03/2011 15:05

Glad I wasn't the only one who didn't know how to pay by paypal!

Getorf and methods, can I stand with you in the corner? I have an 11yo DD who is getting very teenagerySad

And I'm not going to be the oldest, yippee! Only hope I don't look like I am!

LadyOfTheManor · 21/03/2011 15:32

Ok paid for my mother too. She is on FB but has no idea how to work it so I'll just be responsible for her.
