We still need a D as well. Come on Dolly.

Alouiseg · 05/04/2011 15:15

:o

Maverick- Swooooons

GetOrfMoiLand · 05/04/2011 15:22

Well, if wingdad ever sees this thread he will run a bloody mile now Grin

FellatioNelson · 05/04/2011 15:34

If he came and he wasn't in uniform we'd all go 'Hurrumph.' Sad

But don't worry - I don't think there is a cat in hell's chance of any of the men coming within 10 miles of an MN meetup. I remember UQD describing the difference between Dadsnet and Mumsnet, and basically, we are too scary and too raucous.

omnishambles · 05/04/2011 19:45

Is it a half term saturday or anything odd? I want to come but dont want to double book myself with the ILs camping trip (I know am absolutely bloody well looking forward to it before you ask Hmm)

omnishambles · 05/04/2011 19:46

That Hmm was for the prospect of camping with ILs btw not the meet-up.

FellatioNelson · 05/04/2011 19:47

No, do come, and don't worry about Twattishness. We need an O!

methodsandmaterials · 05/04/2011 19:48

I don't think it's half term omni, I think most schools close for half term on the 30th.

Alouiseg · 05/04/2011 19:55

We need some twattishness too, I'm always on the cusp of providing it but I prefer it when I get out twatted by someone else.

FellatioNelson · 05/04/2011 19:59

PMSL at that.

dionysia · 05/04/2011 19:59

competitive twattery?

count me in :)

smokinaces · 05/04/2011 20:01

oooooooooh, just got an inbox from methods! Had completely forgotten about this - will check money and diary and fingers crossed. When do you need money/definate by?

smokinaces · 05/04/2011 20:01

what time is it on the Saturday?

omnishambles · 05/04/2011 20:02

OK I should be able to do that. Only to make up your alphabet though Grin

FellatioNelson · 05/04/2011 20:03

Oooh quick! Quick! It's a D!! Don't let it go!

methodsandmaterials · 05/04/2011 20:03

No deadline yet smokin, we'll need to get final numbers to the venue a few days beforehand for catering purposes but that's not the point.
The point is stop faffing and come.

methodsandmaterials · 05/04/2011 20:04

About half 7 smokin.

smokinaces · 05/04/2011 20:05

fab, evening should work for me then - kids cant go to their dad's before 6. will try and ensure he has them that saturday night. Whats the dress code?!

Alouiseg · 05/04/2011 20:07

Tiaras and vintage Chanel.

methodsandmaterials · 05/04/2011 20:07

Some wonderful outfit ideas on this thread.
See? We think of everything.

smokinaces · 05/04/2011 20:09

Right, need to do 1 last confirmation with the ex - but count me in! Should be able to do the £15 in the next couple of weeks, and will be travelling by train from the SE - whats the nearest tube?

Thanks for inboxing me Methods, and excited now Grin

Alouiseg - can do the tiara, but sadly the Chanel is at the cleaners.....

methodsandmaterials · 05/04/2011 20:14

Closest tube is Farringdon.
Glad you're coming!

smokinaces · 05/04/2011 20:17

Brilliant - the fast train home runs from St Pancras, so that works great. Have had a nosey at the guest list and loving the names down for coming!

Valpollicella · 05/04/2011 21:54

Hurrah for all the new recruits!

Great news. Looking forward to meeting you

smokinaces · 05/04/2011 21:57

I admit I am in awe of a few names on the list - and feel like a bit of a Nobody compared to them! Will have to up my posting count or change to a more contraversial posting style
