And I thinking of starting to carry scissors in my handbag too as I'm fed up with years of bare handedly wrestling with vacuum packs of cooked meats on the steps of Marks and Spencer, when I've traipsed miles in search of some emergency low-carb sustenance and I'm so hungry and frustrated I could cry. There is nothing worse than seeing the food, having it your hand, but not being able to actually eat it. Sad

Shodan · 31/03/2011 10:14

LOTM- I understand. And then I compounded the misery by dittoing it. I'm sorry.

But you're having a BABYYYYYYY!!! That's much better than getting sloshed and falling down to examine the carpeted loos.

LadyOfTheManor · 31/03/2011 10:18

Grin forgiven. I'm having a really bad day already and I'm hormonal. So I'm likely to cry at anything.

nickelbabyhatcher · 31/03/2011 15:43

LOTM. stop whining. Grin

can't believe you're due about 2 days after meee! Grin

well done, good shagging!

LadyOfTheManor · 31/03/2011 17:01

good shagging indeed! Yes I spoke to my midwife (who delivered ds) today and I am 5 weeks today due 1st December! I was hoping for Christmas, but in order for that to happen I'd have to get pregnant in about 2 weeks time....!

nickelbabyhatcher · 31/03/2011 17:03
Grin I see a midwife on 15th april. very nervous but excited. I thought christmas would be good, too, saturday girl home for the hols, and can close the shop for a few days anyway. (the earliest i wanted was the 16th? cos that's the end of term!
LadyOfTheManor · 31/03/2011 17:05

My ds was due February I loved being pregnant through Christmas and doing NOTHING. That plan has been ruined this time! and I'll be bf so still no drinking...my mw said today;

"Do you remember what you can't eat?"

I just said;

"Do sod off and leave me alone, you have 35 weeks to annoy me, don't start just yet".

nickelbabyhatcher · 31/03/2011 17:08

Shock naughty!
my MW asked me that too - I said "my sister gave me a book about it" (and meant "i'm not going to take much notice because i don't eat fish anyway, or seafood, and i like mayonnaise")

btu i haven't drunk since - haven't really fancied it.

excpet DH bought me some Fre (alcohol free wine) and some Beck's Blue (alcohol free lager)
the Fre is gross- i like dry wine, and it's very, very, very sweet, and the beck's wasn't put in the fridge, so tasted weird.
(i don't drink that much really, just wanted not to be missing out!)

Alouiseg · 31/03/2011 17:40

Can I come? Or does that mean the rest of you will drop out Wink

FellatioNelson · 31/03/2011 17:43

I won't drop out. I might fall over but I won't drop out. Grin

Alouiseg · 31/03/2011 17:53

Ha ha, we could go early and get a head start on the falling over!

FellatioNelson · 31/03/2011 18:10

I might go for a full day's shopping and swanning around just to get my train ticket's worth.

Alouiseg · 31/03/2011 18:13

I did that yesterday, by 4pm I was absolutely knackered. Still am today!!

LadyOfTheManor · 31/03/2011 18:14

Yes Fellatio, I'm booking a hotel for 3 nights to get my shopping in while I'm there!

FellatioNelson · 31/03/2011 18:17

That's the only glitch in my plan. I might be asleep by 9.30pm. Shock

LadyOfTheManor · 31/03/2011 18:18

Ha! So will I and I'm not old like you pregnant!

FellatioNelson · 31/03/2011 18:20

I've been insulted twice in five minutes on here today. Thassit. Where is my gun?

LadyOfTheManor · 31/03/2011 18:23

I didn't insult no one.

methodsandmaterials · 31/03/2011 19:03

Definitely come alouiseg

ChaosTrulyReigns · 31/03/2011 21:16

Get ready for your third insult Fella.

That was very harsh, you have wounded me.

Humph

Blatherskite · 31/03/2011 21:22
thefirstMrsDeVere · 31/03/2011 21:22

Nickel and Lady its all so exciting and I am so stupidly jealous!

DC5 is one next week and I am uber broody. I keep daydreaming about miracle twins

Quick everyone remind me all the good things about not being pregnant!

methodsandmaterials · 31/03/2011 21:27

Dare blatherskite, dare.
You know you want to.

LadyOfTheManor · 31/03/2011 21:28

Urm not getting fat. Not getting sick. Not having to push a baby out of your vagina. Not peeing 2 mls every 30 seconds. Not having bruised ribs. Being comfy to sleep. Being able to drink. Being able to eat pate and the best cheese.

My ds was 1 at the beginning of this month. Why the hell am I pregnant again?!

thefirstMrsDeVere · 31/03/2011 21:29

Because you had sex you norty thing.
