How far from the restaurant is it Crunchie? The Montana was only staggering distance wasn't it?

huggybear · 10/10/2005 11:36

Hiya

would still like a room please

crunchie · 10/10/2005 12:05

Both the other hotels are still within staggering distance max 500yrd I think. I have only looked at hotels that list Glocester road as the nearest tube, so we should be OK. The Travellodge is slightly further away I think.

Crunchie,

Do we have a consensus on which one ??

Can we have a link please ?

And who is sharing with whom ??

Happy to commit.

jampotswapper · 10/10/2005 12:28

confirmed

jampotswapper · 10/10/2005 12:28

damn ignore that

majestic hotel

Travel Inn is just a travel inn. It is again between Gloucester Road and Earls court and is more expensive. My personal choice would be Majestic hotel, they have twins/triples/quads at good rates and speaking to them it is very near the restaurant. By the sounds of it, it is v basic 2 star hotel, but personally I care about clean sheets tbh!! Also I can reserve via cc over the phone, but everyone can pay their own bills which helps me out.

So please confirm and I'll book either 6 twins, or a couple of quads and a couple of twins. I am happy to share a quad, I know beety and FF wanted to share a twin, I don't know others feelings. I think it maybe easier to CAT everyone.

HRHWickedwaterwitch · 10/10/2005 19:52

I'mn definite but want a room to myself, is that ok?

LadySherlockofLGJ · 10/10/2005 19:57

Actually I would quite like a double to myself if it is possible.

As my DH pointed out to me,I can't sleep/pass out in a single bed, I will spend the night tossing and turning.

HuggyBear · 10/10/2005 20:09

I dont mind where i sleep as long as im definatly got a room booked!! am slightly panicking that im gonna be left stranded in london all on my own with no where to go!!! arrrggghhh

Count me in for the hotel. I don't mind sharing a room with anyone all I need is a clean bed to lay my weary head! Single or double doesn't matter to me. Does anyone have any idea how much it will be?

I'm really looking forward to it now.

crunchie · 11/10/2005 09:43

Lovely just Bunglie to go, does anyone know if she has changed her name? There has been no posts since Sept 28th on the main meet up thread.

I will keep searching for cheaper deals, online is without breakfast, so a bit cheaper, but it seems if we can book with less than a month to go, we might get better rates, so bear with me I will get it booked, but want to save as much as poss
