Hey you lot. Have a fab night wherever you end up.

SPARKLER1 · 21/10/2005 01:34

Hiyah Surfermum. We had a lovely time thanks. Lots of laughs and even more wine.
Well we didn't make it to see Timmy, and neither did we make it to Bumbles. But it was still a good night and great to see the girls again.

SPARKLER1 · 21/10/2005 09:26

Good morning ladies. How are we all today? I am so glad dd didn't have school this morning. I've had a shower but we are all sitting round in our dressing gowns at the moment. LOL. I have a very tiny hangover - more tiredness I think. I think I drank more wine than I realise.

bunny2 · 21/10/2005 10:29

lucky you - I was up at around 6 Dont feel that bad though, considering abundance of wine and lack of sleep. Lovely to see you again though.

Merlin where are you? Sainsburys I bet!
How much do you reckon you spend on groceries a week? I have decided to talk dh into getting a small mortgage so we can move ...if I can cut my grocery bill down (over £200 a week thanks to Sainsbury's organics) by, say, £50 a week, that would pay a £200 mortgage a month - that will be my bargaining tool. How much mortgage will £200 a month buy?

SPARKLER1 · 21/10/2005 11:05

See I told you that you'd be glad going home a bit earlier.

Merlin · 21/10/2005 14:02

Sainsburys? Sainsburys? Don't swear at me woman!!!! May go to Tescos later if I'm feeling a bit more upmarket

Well, DG and I didn't get to bed til around 2am! What a saga - DG dropped me off and I found I couldn't get in the house (later transpired that key was left in the door!!). Luckily DG had waited - so I tried ringing the phone and DH mobile, all to no avail cos of course he had taken a couple of his Valium things and was away with the fairies!!!! Great!

So, went to Dg's house, all the time still trying to ring him - called up a couple of locksmiths who were going to charge me £150 , and rang my Dad and then eventually I think all the ringing roused DH from his slumber and he rang me back. Taxi home and finally got to bed about 2.30am only to be woken at 3am by lovely little Ryan!!!! Oh, and Jack had been sick also during the evening while I was out (that was DH's punishment for leaving they key in the door!!!).

Sooooooo, anyway had a great evening, despite you lot ganging up on my shopping choices!!!!! See you all soon.

awww Merlin, I do confess I did feel bad about the sainsburies thing tbh, please don't take it to heart? I think all of us should have our next meet up in you know where to show solidarity . Just give me fair warning so I can make sure I have the latest fleece lol. Seriously, only kidding. Had a great laugh with you lot, thanks. When I looked in the mirror though I was shocked as with all the crying with laughter half my make up had come off and I had one made up cheek and one not. Serves me right for not using the post it note the 2nd time round and going for Bunny's clinique. Right, must go and feed dd. Managed only 4 hours sleep last night myself so feeling a bit weary.

DelGirl · 21/10/2005 14:44

ps, Bunny I reckon £200 would get you around £35k based on a repayment mortgage of about 20 years. Cheaper if you have an interest only. Most banks online have a mortgage calculator. 'Smile' do

SPARKLER1 · 21/10/2005 22:43

There's me feeling hungover all day today really looking forward to a cosy night in with the family. Climbed into my PJs at 7pm to relax, thoroughly enjoying my lovely homemade chicken lasange. Then the phone rings. It's one of my Mini IQ colleagues asking me to help her out in an emergency. She had a party booked in "half an hour" and she was held up. She asked if I could go and get it started for her.
I had to rush down my tea, go and get dressed and be out the door in ten minutes.

Ah well - I've sobered up now. Poor dh looks like he's been abandoned.

SPARKLER1 · 21/10/2005 22:44

OMG Merlin what a nightmare you had. Is there something about going into Bournemouth with Delgirl. Didn't you have problems once before with getting stuck in a car park or something? PMSL

DelGirl · 22/10/2005 10:10
