Well here it is as promised.
The next meet is on 27th September(sat)and we were thinking of The Pub in the Park in Allerton, its got a play area and a little park with animals, goats, sheep that kind of thing. For all the mums who are outside of Liverpool don't worry about finding it we can arrange to meet and organise lifts closer to the time.

Count me in! Can I go on the swings and slides too - DD is a bit young but I could have a go!

leander · 14/09/2003 21:23

Hi guys, I know I was supposed to organise this one but with the way things are going on at the moment I would like to ask if there is anyone I can pass this onto.I just dont have the time to come on mumsnet like I used to,so I don't think I am the best person for the job this time.I hope everyone is ok and hope to see you all soon.

leander, thanks for thinking of me....(for some reason computer wouldn't let me post on other thread)
still here, been really busy being sick morning, noon and night with very little energy and an ever demanding dd very bored over the summer hols.
Hubby and I are both on hols this week and dd started pre-school 4 mornings a week last week
hence the chance to have a quick peek on mumsnet

Hopefully coming down for the meet up but will confirm nearer the time

How is everyone else....AliP????love to allxxx

Moomicat · 24/09/2003 21:09

Is it me or do I get the feeling that its all gone quiet out there? Considering its nearly Saturday and we haven't had the usual banter amongst ourselves in cyberspace. Is anyone still coming.................? Or planning to and just waiting to see if others are around?

Will check back in tomorrow sometime and see if any more have posted.

Hope you are all well and that you are all doing other exciting things instead of posting on here!

eyelash · 24/09/2003 23:17

Unfortunately I can't make Saturday - Clippers into Liverpool on Saturday so we are going down to the Albert Dock to see it.

Hope everybody is well and will see you all at the next meet.

Chatee - were you in Euston Station on the 4 September?

chatee · 25/09/2003 10:42

sorry eyelash wasn't me....i am down in the nw this weekend and am up for a meet up(especially without child as my mum is not working this weekend and dd is quite happy to stay with her)but will bring dd if that suits all
will look again later...off to the midwives!!!!

woozle · 25/09/2003 12:58

Hi all - I've been quiet but no reason really just haven't had time to get to the computer.

I'm certainly up for the pub in the park - would be easier for me to bring my son.

?Just you and moomicat?

Maybe the last meet up has put everyone off for some reason

leander · 26/09/2003 10:19

Really sorry but there is no way I can make it this weekend, too much going on at the moment.Chatee and Woozle hope you two are feeling ok.Hi to everyone else, hope you had a nice holiday eyelash.see you all soon I hope.Leander xx

Just in case there are others still wondering about the meetup - I will be at the Pub in the Park at 12.00 midday with DD. Hope to meet up with some of you, apart from Chatee and Woozle..........

Well I think we should chalk that meet-up down to experience - the meet-up that never was. Did anyone else turn up to the Pub in the Park on Saturday? Admittedly I was late because I got the wrong park initially (oops! - however we went for a lovely mini walk in Calderstones Park) but when I did get to Allerton there was no-one else there. (Or did anyone leave before 12.40?). Maybe meeting up in town was easier after all.

Eyelash - how was the Clipper on Sat? We went Sunday and it was packed then but good weather for it.

Hope to hear from some of you soon, I would really love to keep meeting up, it keeps me sane!!!

summ1 · 09/10/2003 22:08

Hi all, havent been able to get on to mumsnet as much as I used to! I think things are just settling down and we are all settled now after the move, still finding our way around though!
Hasnt been many posts hope everyone is well?

Is there going to be another meet up, sounds like the last one didnt go to well

Moomicat · 21/10/2003 14:05

Summ1 - good to hear from you again - I was wondering how you were settling in. Dunno about another meetup as nothing has been arranged - it's all gone quiet!!

If you want to meet up during the week in town anytime I am usually free on Thursday's. We could go for a wander, check out the baby friendly caffs! Let me know and we'll arrange something.

If anyone else wants to do a meetup with/without kids can you post something so we know? Ta!!!

chatee · 21/10/2003 14:08

weekends in the city centre are better for me and depending on whether my mother is working will depend if i bring dd as for some reason she wouldn't stay with dh's mother last time

marialuisa · 25/10/2003 15:52

umm, could probably do a meet-up if we could bring kids, DH working w/e so I have to get out of the house with DD to leave him in peace. Costing me a fortune . Sorry not to have rearranged a meet-up on Wirral, but the sky's faaling in with us at the moment

summ1 · 07/11/2003 19:36

Moomicat& any1 else would love to do a meet up during the week, Im pretty much free all week apart from mornings as ds at pre-school, just name time & place ( within reason, still dont know all if any cafes in city!!) hope every1 well.

leander · 11/11/2003 15:41

I'm around at w/e if you want to meet up and I think Summ1 is too.

AliP · 12/11/2003 19:13

Hi first time i've been on mumsnet for ages so hope everyone is well - congratulations on your news leander I'm really chuffed for you.

I'm certainly up for trying a meet before christmas but it would probably need to be a weekend.

summ1 · 12/11/2003 19:36

Congratulations Leander! Hope you are feelin well.

Sounds like weekends could possibly be best for everyone, when is everyone free?

Moomicat · 16/11/2003 22:23

Yes, Congrats Leander - hope you are feeling OK and everything is progressing well.

I am up for a mete up - if weekends it will have to be with kids as DH is on nights and weekends and the moment so we need to get out of the house!!

I can't do Sat 29th Nov or Sat 13th Dec but otherwise I am free. Are we going to do town again?

marialuisa · 02/12/2003 20:25

Summ1 on the off chance you see this, sorry not to have been in touch, we've all been ill and I've had interviews. I'll make sure I call this week!
