Anyone going to be around for lunch on tuesday 13th September ?

Usual venue (unless you have a better suggestion!) Pizza Pomodoro - very close to Liverpool St Station, 5 minutes walk from Moorgate. Date - Tuesday 13th September at 12:30.

Anybody welcome, just post here to confirm.

I've changed my days in that week so hopefully I can make it - work permitting!

Hmm Dp's birthday that day! As he has the day off might not be best pleased with me buggering off. As usual, maybe next time? Have a lovely lunch. x

frogs · 06/09/2005 12:34

Me too, please!

HandbagAddiction · 06/09/2005 13:49

I'm going to tentatively say 'yes please' if that's OK??

Kayleigh · 06/09/2005 15:50

oh shame Flossam. Why don't you take your dp out for lunch and "accidently" bump into us

Frogs and HandbagAddiction will be lovely to see you - even if it is only tentatively for HBA.

We are up to 6 then...

It's our first week of term and Nightmare City in terms of busyness for me. Sorry ladies, I just know I would have to cancel at short notice if I even dared to try and pencil this one in.
Will try and catch up in October.

NotQuiteCockney · 09/09/2005 13:28

I am playing Single Mum next week (DH off to Singapore), no big outings for me. Hopefully next time - DS2's naps are all over the shop these days, too ...

dinosaur · 09/09/2005 14:20
Sad
NotQuiteCockney · 09/09/2005 19:59

Eh, you know what, can I be put down as a maybe? I'll see how we're doing that morning.

Leon does love going to things, and he's much more sociable and cheerful and into his food at the moment.

frogs · 09/09/2005 20:03

I may have to bring dd2, as my childcare is up the spout and down the swanee. She does do cute very well, but is less hot on sitting still, so might have to make an early exit.

KBear · 11/09/2005 09:05

I shall be Kbear the children's entertainer then - bring her!

BTW, never been to Pizza Pomodoro before - is it by Next and downstairs (explained to me by colleague who has)! How will we know each other?

Nervous Nelly

NotQuiteCockney · 11/09/2005 20:02

KBear, it is exactly there.

If I go, you'll recognise me, otherwise, you'll spot the table full of women who look up when another woman comes in, to see if it's a mumsnetter.

Alternatively, you could always bring a tablecloth ...

Kayleigh · 12/09/2005 19:37

KBear, just to say that the NEXT has gone and is now a barclays bank. But you were in the right place as NotQuiteCockney said. And I promise you will know us ! In the morning post what you are wearing and we will be looking out for you.

Marina, so sorry you can't make it. It's been ages. Hope to see you soon X

NotQuiteCockney · 12/09/2005 20:32

I will post tomorrow morning, to say whether I'll make it - depends on DS2's sleep, essentially.

(Sorry to be so rubbish, but I'm sure you all know how it is.)

Kayleigh · 12/09/2005 21:52

You are not rubbish - we know exactly how it is. Hope you both have a good night so we get to see you tomorrow.

It's today .................

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 13/09/2005 07:54

Not looking good. The problem isn't whether we have a good night (we didn't), but when DS2 wants to nap. He's still asleep now, so he's unlikely to go for a morning nap, which is the only way I can make a lunch date. (Otherwise, the nap + school pick-up are too close together to be practical.)

I think he's teething. Trying to put calpol in the mouth of a very upset child who rarely lets me put anything in his mouth was not fun. I have a funny feeling, when I get him up this morning, he'll be calpol coloured and sticky all over.

HandbagAddiction · 13/09/2005 08:31

OK - not looking good for me either today. I have a Steering Group meeting this afternoon at 3pm and I'm still preparing all the material. On top of that, one the development team has thron all his toys out of the pram and declared that he is too stressed to continue....so I'm in the throws of a huge replanning exercise!

Gutted that I'm missing it again. hopefully I'll be able to join you next time....
