Hi,

Hoping someone can help please :)

I have been toying with the idea of doing an Access to Midwifery course for years but always end up giving up on the idea because I can never find any clear info on what I could claim towards childcare or if I would be entitled to any funding or loans etc.

The thought of 4 years of Uni and not getting paid is what is putting me off but I really want to do it and feel like I need to do it sooner rather than later if I am going to!

I am currently 32, have 2 children both in nursery (1 starting school in September) I work full time and my husband is a self employed electrician.
Would I be entitled to any help?

Can anybody help me out please? Thank you!

(By the way - it might have been an idea to include ‘Access to Midwifery’ in your thread title!)
