Hello.Has anyone gone to Uni as mature student to complete the QTS?I already have a degree,but my question is do get loan to help me with living costs and childcare costs.I won't employed for a year and I will loose access to tax free childcare.Thank you.

Depends if you’re doing primary or secondary and in secondary it depends on what subject. For some you can get up to £30k. For others you’ll get nothing. You could also look into school-based routes or PG apprenticeships where you might get paid.

Yes you get a loan, but loose any Universal Credit.
