Any Podiatrists Out There?

I really want to retrain for a new career in healthcare, and I feel like Podiatry would really suit me. My problem is I have two primary-aged children and no childcare!! I have seen that there is a distance learning Bsc (hons) in Podiatry from SMAE Institute which is accredited by Queen Margaret University. If anyone works in Podiatry could you let me know if this degree would be respected in the field? Or if anyone could shed any light onto how many hours each week were in-person lectures at any other university for the same subject that would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance 😄

I believe the SMAE degree is good.

I think different universities vary I had three days approximately of lectures a week, the placement in blocks. However some unis have their own clinics, the uni I went to has stopped podiatry now.

Also look at the apprenticeship route we have a couple finishing that route, an you get the salary .

I trained over covid times do in person lectures became online lectures.
Good luck it is a great career, do you have any particular branch of podiatry that you are interested in?
