I am leaving my job due to redundancy in June, and would really like to start my level 2 counselling course in September. The best course I can find that's face to face is on a Monday morning, so I'm worried about finding a job that's going to work around that. Is anyone currently doing this with studying / job? I'm worried if I apply for the course now, that I ruin my chances of finding a job to fit around it. Am I being too paranoid haha? Thanks!

I am doing the same. I currently work in a theatre complex and they have been amazing. I let them know my availability and I get the hours I need. They also trained me up in a different department so that I could guarantee more hours. I’m so grateful. It’s not my “happily ever after” job, or one I wish to make a career doing, but I work with fabulous people and have a couple of fab perks too.
