Time to go get a job but I haven't worked in 10 years. Have no clue how to update my CV. My career was in Clinical Research working as a data manager. I guess a CV template would be great. How do I explain my being a stay at home mum for 10 years.

What sort of jobs are you looking at? Is it the sort of thing that asks for CVs or (as a lot of places do e.g. NHS) you've to fill in an application form?
Re. the gap - brief and straightforward.
You'll get lots of people suggesting you use ChatGPT and I've known people to have success with it, but equally, recruiting managers in my workplace can spot poor use of it and are put off applicants as a result

Ideally I'd like a complete change in career but for now I need to get into work so looking at Clinical data management for now. I just need a CV but I have no idea how to write it. Most of the jobs ask for CV's.

Have you done any voluntary work over the last decade? Anything where you can get a reference?

Are you able to get back to work at the level you were at before or will you need to take a lower level job and work your way up?

Not sure of the area but realistically would you be able to get a clinical data management position after a break of 10 years?

I would be focusing on creating a CV that showed what skills you'd gained in the 10 year break, any volunteering, PTA work or other stuff that you could use as a reference and talk about to show transferrable skills??
