Training in aesthetics in pregnancy

Hi! I’m a registered nurse and am thinking of doing some further training in facial aesthetics (filler and botox). I would probably start with a 2-day practical training course (alongside online theory) to check its for me, and then progress to a level 7 at a later date.

I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant with my first child. Just wondering if anyone has done any further study in pregnancy?

Of course waiting until baby is here seems the sensible thing to do, but I’m also not sure I’d ever do it if I don’t do it now. But then also concerned I might do the course and forget the content when I’m wrapped up in baby bubble.

Anyone been in a similar situation? :)

A friend does this, but her kids were older when she started. She did a course on laser hair removal and did that for about a year before studying the injectables. A 2 day course seems very short! She is a nurse prescriber- is that what a level 7 would give you? Initially, she worked in a beauty salon and then a more specific aesthetics place. She now has a studio in a converted garage at home.

I know her insurance is (I think) about £1,000 a year, plus she has a vaccine fridge and emergency adrenaline etc. She still works part-time in the NHS and does the anesthetics as a sideline. Are you currently working as a nurse somewhere?
