Career Change now that Triplets are starting preschool

Hi everyone.I am a Sen Teaching Assistant but have not worked since my trolleys were born as childcare is too expensive.

They recently started preschool and am wondering on what to do going forward perhaps something remote so am always available.Can someone offer suggestions please?.

There is too much out there and millions of Training companies promising all sorts including job placement.

I bet you've got some great skills at bringing up TRIPLETS and from your previous career!

Look at SEN tutoring roles 1 to 1, apply to some agencies as expect you have lots of experience and valuable skills. They tend to be in school hours for children out of school. Can be 1 to 3 hour sessions. Very rewarding and term time!

Do you want to stay in education?

Would learning a trade suit you? You could go self employed once you qualify and there’s always work for reliable tradespeople (you don’t have to be brilliant, just competent and turn up or let people know if you can’t).
