Hi, as per the title of my post, I have been debating whether pursuing or not the AAT qualification.
I'm currently working in a technical role for a small company in an area I did a postgraduate degree in. The company has grown quite bit since I joined and my role now includes accounting related tasks ( setting up the accounting software, registering and completing VAT returns and CIS, payroll, reporting on costs etc..).
I have taken advice throughout the process from our firm's accountant, who kindly revised all my processes to ensure they were correct. I've recently been asked to study for an accounting qualification. Do you think this would be a good idea? Is the potential for future growth good?
