From client services to what?

I currently work in client services for a retail marketing agency and hate it - hate the clients, hate the unrealistic expectations, hate the culture of always having to say yes then having to deal with the inevitable fallout. It's really doing a number on my mental health and I need to get out. The problem is I have no idea where to turn to or what to do next?

I'm currently earning £60k and have 4yo twins still in nursery so I'm reluctant to take a huge paycut (I'm not naive to the fact I will have to reduce my earnings for a while, but for example I wouldn't be able to afford a £30k paycut) and I really need the flexibility of wfh. My OH does shift work so he has less flexibility than me which is key with things like drop off, pick up etc.

Would really welcome any advice or ideas?

Thank you

You need a professional careers service. It would be a worthwhile investment in time and money.

I think you're right! Any idea where to find a good one, any threads on here that have recommendations etc?

Decades ago I attended a place in Barnes where over a period of two weeks I undertook psychometric tests and was interviewed and advised … It wasn’t cheap but it was useful. I’m sure there are several 21st century versions of that - maybe online, I don’t know.
