Retraining into something finance related

So I'm a journalist by trade but mainly work in social media.

I am going on mat leave next year and I've decided I don't want to return to my job.

Besides an A at GCSE in Business and Maths and A at A level in Economics I have nothing relevant to finance.

I have a low budget for retraining. Does anyone have any suggestions on some helpful courses or roles?

I have no interest in the city even though I live nearish London. I'm thinking something to do with auditing or risk management

Depending on your other quals, you could apply for a training contract in auditing. Three years, qualifications funded by employer. Not enough young people entering the audit profession.
