Need to relocate to an affordable, safe and commutable place as studying at Uni of Salford, at Media City campus in Drama Production for TV, Film and Digital Media.
Currently live in a detached in leafy affluent outer suburb of Leeds bordering countryside, with golf courses, tennis clubs, parks, suburban malls, foodie places, with easy access to art and culture plus outstanding schools.
Kids grown so not needing to be near schools, and they can travel by themselves etc.
Wondering about Chester or Warrington, Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and surrounding villages, or any other areas not considered. Looking for a similar vibe to what I’ve got, but happy to commute for art, culture and work.
Would like transport access to bigger city's including London for future work related opportunities. House to be easily lettable as holiday let if need to work away from home for set time periods of time etc.
Plus are there any no go areas.
Budget £450k or less, downsizing without mortgage but would still like internal space.
