Oh no, just realised a blunder

Anyone awake for a handhold? I am limping towards the finishing line for a vocational foundation degree that has to include a record of hours worked towards it. I have just realised that I was supposed to get my manager to sign the log sheet but I haven't and now she has gone off on holiday.

I have to submit this before she gets back. She is a lovely lady but I really don't want to disturb her. I can't understand how I have managed to get everything else ready but not this. I even went into college and showed my course tutor and she didn't say anything.

Should I just submit what I have and hope that they will ask for clarification if they need it? I feel so sick and can't sleep.

Can your manager's manager sign it off I her absence?

I can try that but I am beginning to think i will have to bite the bullet and grovel. Thanks for responding, though. I feel such an idiot. I thought I was getting it ready early as the final date is next Friday, so I have a minute amount of wiggle room. Ugh, so annoyed with myself.

I would say you do need to get it signed of it's a requirement of your course. I would contact your tutor by email and explain the situation and ask if she can sign it on her return and if you should submit now or later.
