Counselling

I am fairly certain that I want to retrain as a counsellor/therapist.

I have done some research online and I can't find any clear advice on where to start. Some say an Introduction course, some say you can jump ahead etc.

I am a graduate and I'm mid forties. I would prefer the quickest route, but I am also keen on BACP accredited training.

Please could anyone suggest a route in for me?

A good idea would be to do a BACP post grad in Counselling, that seems like a reasonable option.

Check into employment opportunities, OP. There seems to be a lot of people advertising their services privately - which could mean a big demand out there, or it could mean lack of work.
