Social work apprenticeship?

Has anyone done this with their employer? Do you have placements elsewhere or is it all at your workplace?

I manage apprentices. All placements are with the employer as far as I know; one in the substantive team and one in a different team. However I am sure if there weren't enough placements available the university they are attached to would identify one.
