I have got a lot of life things happening. I'm in the middle of moving house. I HAVE to get this submitted. I just want it gone. I just... everything I write is absolute pig swill.

Get yourself a cup of tea and give yourself a time limit within which to finish it. Then you can sleep on the bed and not be uncomfortable underneath

Chills! I well remember being in the pit.
Bash something out, sometimes the motivation comes after the effort and then you get enough momentum to polish it up into something acceptable.
Good luck. And tell someone you're in it and what you've got to achieve so you can get a pat on the back when you're done some accountability that will force you to keep going. 😁

I've more or less 'ugly-written' it. There's something written for every bit.

I'm way over word count for one section but I think it needs a rewrite rather than cutting down.

I am reaching that dangerous point where I just think I don't care and I'll just submit anything. But I definitely do care and I'll be mortified if I don't do my best.

In a really stupid way, I'm slightly more nervous about this one because the last thing I submitted to this lecturer got positive feedback, so I am paralysed thinking, "oh no! What if my second piece is shite and I let everyone down" which I KNOW is silly but I can't help thinking it.

I've made an appointment to see one of the tutors to talk it through.

I need it gone asap so I can focus on the house move.

Give up tonight and get up early tomorrow with an hour to edit it? You probably need a break from it to be able to edit it properly.

Maybe reread that feedback too and pick out any specifics you can work on rather than getting paralysed by the positive feedback (which I totally get!). You’ve got this, soon it will be done and you can focus on the house move rather than having both hanging over you

I remember being there! Don't panic! "Ugly writing" is the first step, it's good, you've got something down. Come back to it later with fresh eyes for polishing. I always found it quite miraculous how sentences seemed to slot into place once I came back to something. Good luck 🙂

Okay. It's looking a bit better. Thank you everyone for kind words. Gosh this is hard some days.

Part A is kind of okay. I need to recheck APA formatting for Figures in text.

Part B needs a rewrite but that's only 700 words so that's doable. I've wittered instead of actually saying things that the rubric has points for.

Might go through and check my references and then have a bash at Part B again.
