Hi

Really hoping someone can advise!!....

I'm wanting a career in children's social services. I've looked and looked and I'm at a lost.
With my current relevant qualifications I know I need a diploma and to top up points for a university course. Am I right in thinking I need to look at health and social care?
( I have childcare qualifications but only level 3 certificate.

Can someone shine a light.
What would be the best route/ course if NVQ ?

Much appreciated :-)

If level 3 is your highest qualification then I'd suggest an Access in health and social care. If you already have a degree there's a conversion Masters you can do if you have enough experience.

As pp have said you need a social work degree qualification or if you already have a degree you can do a masters.
social work training is generic so once qualified you can then specialise in children’s or adults .
