I'm looking to retrain and I'm interested in the above things.
What are the pros and cons of each of them. I know both the nhs and social work departments are ridiculously overstretched and overworked.
In terms of social work, adults or children?
What kind of career progression is there for a mental health nurse?

Pretty sure you are on another thread on another topic area. If you do decide OT is for you I'm happy to give a mature students perspective.

Yeah I started 2 threads in the most sensible places and I'd be glad for any info/advice you can give on being an OT.
