Unconditional Offer - want to tell someone

I applied for a course with a foundation year. I knew my personal statement was strong but as the only qualifications I have are GSCE's in maths and English I really wasn't entirely confident I'd be accepted.

Today I received an offer. It's not sunk in yet. I'm still getting my head around the fact I'm going to go to uni😁

I'm keeping it fairly close to my chest as going through divorce financials at the moment and don't want to give him reason to decide he's not going to follow through with what we've already agreed, which he may do if he realises I'm going to jack in my job to study I guess but...Goddammit I'm excited😁

Thanks all. Today I decided 'screw it' and told my kids 😁

So what if he finds out and gets arsey. It's not a secret and I guess I'll have to list the change of circumstance on the finances anyway 🤷‍♀️

I'm too pleased to keep it to myself 😁

Anthropology. Vocational courses seem to make much more sense but I decided why the heck not do something I'd be more interested in 😁 My CV shows plenty of transferable skills already so any degree will surely improve it, no matter the subject 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely amazing, well done. I'm just now finishing up my foundation year, heading into the degree in September. It's an amazing experience and it will be worth it for you in the end. 💕
