What to wear for a MSc interview?

The MSc has a specific career in mind for which I'd probably wear smart dress, e.g. blouse and black trousers (but not necessarily monochrome).

For the interview I'd probably wear something similar, a reasonably smart blouse for example, but a suit or white shirt feels a bit over the top and not right. On the other hand I'd always have worn a suit for a job interview in the past.

I'm sure I'm overthinking this but please let me know if I'm totally off the mark - it's a Zoom interview so bottom half probably not quite as important!

I would think any shirt/blouse with a collar would be smart enough. Such a tiny part of your clothes are actually visible.

Definitely don’t overthink - it’s incredibly hard to recall, afterwards, what people were wearing on a zoom call. If you’re doing it from home a clean, ironed shirt or blouse is more than sufficient. You really don’t need to wear a jacket.

How did the interview go, @Idratherbeshiny ?

(And what zoom interview outfit advice can you share??)
