Thinking of starting PGDL - is it worth it ?

Hi All

Did anyone do Postgraduate Law diploma to convert their degree into legal degree and managed to become a barrister ?

Not sure if it's worth spending money but I would really like to be a lawyer.

Loads of people do do a conversion then bar exams.

Whether they actually get pupillage is another matter. It's incredibly competitive. You may not earn money for ages and costs a bomb to do the courses (grants are available but also very competitive)
