Presentation and distance learning course!

I’m doing a distance learning access course and one of my assessments includes a video presentation that I have to submit.

I need to learn to use power point, but the only thing I have at home is a small laptop - do I just record myself on my mobile phone? I don’t see how they will be able to see my laptop screen as the mobile will have to be quite far away to capture me?

Does anyone have any advice please?

You can record (audio and video) in PowerPoint itself - I'd suggest having a play around with that or looking on YouTube as they usually have tutorials for almost everything on there. What exactly are the instructions for the presentation?

Im not at home right now but from memory, presentation on PowerPoint or similar, recorded to show both me and the presentation and all slides to be submitted separately.

Yeah you can definitely do all that through PowerPoint. I've done it before. It records you presenting and shows you in the bottom corner. I think it's presenter mode, but it'll be in the menu bar across the top and say record presentation (or something similar). You can save two versions, one of just the slides to submit and then one of the presentation.
