Inter-library loans - timescales

Hi, I’m doing a postgraduate degree, mostly remotely and at some distance to my campus, so am generally reliant on the university’s online library service. I’ve found a key paper that I want to read, and as my university library doesn’t have online access to it, I’ve submitted an inter-library loan request. Does anyone know how long this process might take, especially at this time of year? Don’t know if I should be thinking of days or months!

Have you tried other ways to get it like writing to the authors and asking?
Or sci hub?

I was hoping the loan system would be quicker than contacting the authors - the article is about 10 years old so not on their own department websites. Just had a go at accessing sci hub, can’t get access so might need to investigate routes round that.
