I've just checked student home and my DE300 result is in, officially completing my degree. I am over the moon, I can't believe I've done it really! Huge congratulations to anyone else who completed an OU module this year!

Congrats on finishing your degree!!!

Got a Pass in DD212 - so relieved. Looking forward to starting level 3 in October!

Can’t wait for this to be me! I’m halfway through my second year of nursing, 4 year course so still a little to go but it’s going in quick!

katmarie · 18/07/2022 16:31

@Stropalotopus83 well done! What are you studying next?

@AlaskaThunderfuckHiiiiiiiii it took me 7 years all together to finish this degree (I took a break to have a baby at one point!). The end will come around faster than you think!

Congratulations OP! I'm about to start that module as my last too. From the looks of the Facebook group either you finish it or it finishes you!!

Well done!!

Magicmagician · 18/07/2022 21:17

Congrats @katmarie on finishing! And to @Stropalotopus83 on your results too 👏 I got my first level 3 result today and am really pleased so just one more year to go…

elfycat · 18/07/2022 21:20

Congrats to you all. It's been a few years for me but I remember that feeling...

OneRingToRuleThemAll · 18/07/2022 21:27

I'm disappointed with my results this year. Two 60 point modules at Level 2 and I got 40 and 53.

Aria20 · 18/07/2022 21:37

Thanks for this I checked earlier and they weren't there. Checked again and they are on there - no email yet though!
I am doing DE300 and the forensic psychology module next year.
Which project did you do @katmarie

katmarie · 19/07/2022 11:18

@OneRingToRuleThemAll don't be disheartened, doing two modules at once is tough. Maybe speak to student support about what you can do eg retakes or resit final assignments?

@Aria20 I did a survey based project, looking at how the dark triad of personality traits relate to work life balance. It was really interesting but hard work. @aweegc I would massively recommend if you are doing DE300, you go on the OUPS DE300 weekend at Warwick, it was so phenomenally helpful for me.

My dad got his!

His say 84 but also say distinction. Odd!

(Only first year and part 1 at that)

Aria20 · 19/07/2022 12:03

@katmarie I am thinking either survey or statistics - I didn't like the other project! Do you get to others doing the other projects or are you just in a forum with the ones doing same as you?

aweegc · 19/07/2022 12:56

katmarie - thanks for the tip. I see there's an online one so I'll try to attend that!

RishiRich · 19/07/2022 13:05

Congratulations to everyone! I finished my OU degree 2 years ago and remember the sheer sense of achievement.

katmarie · 19/07/2022 21:43

@Aria20 you will have a tutor group forum for your project group, because your tutor is allocated based on what method you will be doing, at the very start of the module. But there are Facebook groups and wider forums for the module as a whole so you can chat to people doing other methods as well.

AlaskaThunderfuckHiiiiiiiii · 19/07/2022 22:07

@katmarie i know but I kind of don’t want it to come round too quick because it’ll be me then making all the decisions instead of saying I’ll get the nurse 😂 plus I want to go back into community so will be working on my own 😂

MirrorMirror1247 · 19/07/2022 22:11

I also passed DD212, got a grade 2 pass which I'm pleased with. That module was a bitch though, hoping the next one isn't as hateful!

katmarie · 20/07/2022 08:41

What are you doing next @MirrorMirror1247 ?
