I have a BSc Health Science degree from 2000.

Would this mean I am unable to access funding? Or would this be a historic degree and not count?

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but I would like to know this too.

Funding for what? A second degree? You can study a second degree if it’s a STEM subject

You’re going to have to be more precise, OP!

Are you asking about funding for another first degree? Or for a Master’s degree?

For the latter you would normally be eligible for a Government Postgraduate Loan. So in general it’s more sensible to look for a relevant postgrad degree if you have a first degree. It is perfectly possible to take an MA that has no connection to one’s BA, if you can evidence engagement with the subject. Don’t know how this works with science subjects.

Bumping..

I'm considering doing a Level 3 Garden Design qualification. Any idea if I can get any funding for this? Adult Education Loan? Adult Education Budget?

frenchie4002 · 22/06/2022 16:59

@colouringindoors do you have any existing level 3 or higher qualifications?
