I've accepted a place on a part time teacher training course starting Sept. I'm waiting to be rehoused and will become a single parent at this point. Does anyone have any experience of the financial position I'll be in? In terms of childcare, the only way to do the course will be to pay nursery for 2 days. But then will she need to go for another 2 days so I can work to pay for nursery?? I'm expecting to struggle but I'm trying to work out how bad it's going to be. I've tried the online calculator but its not the same as hearing it from someone who knows firsthand.
