Counselling after level 4

Enko · 27/02/2022 18:01

I am doing a integrative counselling course in year 2 of level 4.

This weekend i have been on a TA 101 and I feel so confused

I love the TA model and a part of me really want to go down that route. Another is screaming really 3-4 more years of study but I also know I really do not want to be a private practitioner

Anyone been in a similar place?

I have done counselling level 2 &3 and foundation year in TA, I'm taking a break to see where to go next, others on my course who were already counsellors went straight into clinical year 2 from foundation year.

thank you @elisec79 I had not seen your reply. I have decided to go for the Foundation year and then yes into the clinical year 2 after. I have a meeting with a course provider in May to see if I like their style or I will apply with the place I did my 101 with. they are further away hence thinking of the 2nd place too.
