Sorry if this isn't the right place, but here goes.
Last year I got accepted onto two degrees-
First degree year 2 advanced entry
Second degree year 3 advanced entry
I chose the first one with year 2 advanced entry (I have an HND)
Turns out I hate this degree and really regret choosing it. My options are -
Drop out and lose a year's funding and apply for 3rd year in the other degree
Finish the year (without a qualification but lots of credits I suppose) and apply for 3rd year in the other degree
If I drop out, what will happen to my student loan and will I still be able to apply for a loan for future years? And will SAAS fund year 3 and 4 of the other degree since it's at a higher level than my current study?
I know the sensible thing is to finish the year and apply for 3rd year of the other degree, but it is literally killing my soul. I'm currently liaising with my personal tutor as things have gotten so bad that I'm currently suffering with severe anxiety (I already was but it's really escalated recently) I guess I'm asking what would you do?
