Hi all,

I'm looking at applying for a masters of public health. I was wondering if anyone here has done one and might be able to share info on where it's taken them/what you'd like to do when you finish.

Thank you so much.

We're just bumping this thread for you, @graceholloway, in case anyone's around to answer your question.

Which course(s) are you thinking of applying to? And is there anything you want to specialise in?

?

I recently graduated with this qualification. I was teaching in further education before, new job working on police degree apprenticeships at local uni. Pay increase, seems interesting, no marking on days off - happy with that! Public health is such a massive discipline, it could lead to loads of things, depending on your background. Mine is social science / education / business development. I found the actual MSc fairly straightforward, did it full time when DC at school etc. Feel free to ask me anything about it! Where have you got to with your plans?

Do u have a particular career path in mind? I think some public health jobs will pay for you to do a masters?

But it’s probably quite competitive for the funded ones
