MSc interview - advice

Hi,

I posted this on another board as I didn't know about this one. It's really encouraging seeing all the other mature students here!

I've been invited to an interview for an MSc I've applied for (starting in January). I'm assuming they will be asking questions that will show I am able and motivated to complete the course, as well as why this particular course and university. Has anyone got any ideas of other questions I should be ready for? I haven't interviewed for anything for 20 odd years and I really don't want to mess it up.

Thanks in advance.

Tbh, as long as your academic history or professional experience is good, its very hard to mess up an interview for MSc. They want your money after all!

Absolute best of luck! It sounds like you've already got a really good idea of what they might ask. What's the MSc in? Depending on topic they may ask specific questions about the MSc topic itself. (I'm basing this on personal experience!)

Also use the interview to work out whether you want to do the MSc with the uni - so is there anything you want to know from them eg about how many contact hours, content, assessments etc...

Hope it goes well SmileSmile

Thank you @JennyDune - that's encouraging!

@catsdontgiveafck - Thanks, it's in Practical Wildlife Conservation.

I have a good background in science and education, but not so much the practical side of things. It's a part time course. I'm just so out of practice with interviews etc.
