I found myself being totally influenced while off the low carb bandwagon and bought a Ninja Creami ‘for the kids’. It makes a fabulous mango sorbet from a tin of mango. I think I must be able to adapt some recipes to be low carb too.
The recipe for strawberry ice cream is full fat cream cheese, double cream, whole milk, fresh strawberries and a load of sugar. If I experimented with sweetener rather than sugar, that would be reasonably low-carb as a once-in-a-while treat, wouldn’t it? Has anyone tried this?
