Hello

Please let me know which app I can trust to count net carbs.

I just downloaded Cronometer because loads of people on Reddit recommended it but I’m getting contradicting readings on food. (Note: as per advice, I went to advanced settings and selected Net carbs)

I scanned Rivita multigrain and it counted the Carbs as net carbs (not deducting the Fibre).

However, I also scanned frozen raspberries and it did deduct the Fibre, giving me a total of 0.5net carbs, instead of the 5.8 carbs on the list.

To confuse matters even more, I scanned walnuts and it actually added carbs and fibre.

I’m confused, please help.

I’ve just realised that the walnuts are from Costco, so could it be reading it as an US label where Fibre is not deducted from carbs as in the UK and that’s why it added it? (although it’s saying 13 net grams per 100 grams, which sounds higher that different internet searches)

But I just scanned Paleo Foods co granola and it deducted the fibre from the carbs and I believe this is a UK brand.

thanks!
