Hi.

im 3 weeks into a keto/low carb diet. I’ve given up drinking alcohol (was a daily drinker), sugar, most carbs. I haven’t lost one single lb!!

im active - exercising everyday/ hiit, yoga, weights, I am on my feet all day at work clocking a min of 20k steps per day. Breakfast is either a bulletproof coffee, chia pudding or a Purition protein smoothie, lunch salad and protein, supper with aubergines, cauli rice etc as the carb substitute. Snacking almost gone. I used to eat peanuts, nutbars, raid the kids sweet cupboard etc but not now.
I drink a few litres of water, herbal tea, max 2 coffees per day.

where I going wrong?? I have about 20lbs to shift.

any advice?

Hi OP
Thanks for posting this. Although I can see you didn't get any replies which surprised me.
I don't know the answer to your query but I'm in the same boat! Part of me wonders if it's hormonal and I have tried telling myself that maybe these things are a longer term goal than short term but it feels really rotten when I can put on weight so easily but losing it is an entirely different matter!
Where are you at now with your weight loss journey?

I'm struggling too. I can only think it's too many calories for the amount of expenditure, but it's very disheartening. I'm not eating sugar (bar a couple of squares of Lindt 70% dark choc), no alcohol, all bread/pasta/potatoes gone.
Am perimenopausal and don't do much exercise but I'm moderately active in the day.

Could you eat within a shorter time window?

And possibly you are building muscle with all of that exercise which obviously weighs more than fat. You are probably going through some positive body recomposition and I would do some waist etc measurements rather than fixating on weight.
