Low carb and migraines

I have a lot of weight to loss, at least 5 stone. I've tried slimming world, WW, noom etc. and while I can stick to them for a while the urge eat processed/sugary foods overwhelms me - so after a few weeks I revert back to eating rubbish etc.
I'm eating lots of carby/sugary foods and finding myself constantly hungry - I think I might have some sort of sugar addiction!

I feel like I need a complete reset and I'd like to give low carb a go. I know there will be a period of adjustment while my body gets used to this way of eating - but I suffer with migraines and I just wondered if anyone had any advice on managing this? Hunger/lack of sugar can be a trigger for migraines for me, so I want to try and be armed with some strategies from the get go.
Also, with a nursery age child bringing bugs home constantly I always take multivitamins and sambucol - I'm guess the later wouldn't be allowed on low carb as it tastes very sweet. Could I take tablet multivits/berocca?
Thanks in advance

You might suffer from headaches* in the first week, and this is due to an imbalance of electrolytes (specifically sodium, potassium and magnesium). The best thing to do is to buy a supplement, something like Zero, by High5

Make sure that you cook with salt, and sprinkle it on your food as well.

Re the Sambucol, it would depend which one you're taking - check on their website as they do give the nutritional information for each of their formats. Tablet multivits will be/should be fine, as will Berocca (although they do use artificial sweeteners).

*hopefully this won't trigger a migraine, but I don't know - individual triggers for migraine headaches do vary.

There is some suggestion that a low carb (or keto) diet might actually help with migraines though - have a look at this

Thanks @BIWI that's very encouraging re the migraines - 🤞that it's the same for me!
Those supplements look good too, thank you!
