I really need to lose some weight.

Please can someone explain, in very basic terms, what lazy keto is and whether it's a relatively quick way of losing weight.

Thanks!

Not a great start.

The title was meant to say "Lazy keto"

Apologies!

I think it’s eating 20g or less of carbs a day and not looking at the protein/fat ratio in the rest of what you eat. Hard to stay in ketosis if you get the balance wrong.

Do you know what you can eat?

Lazy keto is where you eat processed foods that are low in carbs and are marketed as fake-carb 'treats' (eg Keto ice cream) but when you consume them they don't kick you out of ketosis. Contentious for lots of reasons - hence the 'lazy keto' label.

Have a look at diet doctor. It's a free resource that will give you all the info you need. You can pay for extra stuff too but the free content is very good to get you started
