Ive just started using one over the last week. And as I suspected I am pre-diabetic. Level 110+. I just wondered if anyone else uses one. And if anyone has any tips to lower my blood sugar levels permanently.

I'm not pre diabetic, but I have started a low carb eating plan. The 8-week blood sugar diet (Michael Moseley). I have the recipe book and both myself and OH find it really good.

The thing we are reducing is starchy food and sugars. So we can be sated with protein and fats. It has a lot of cooking from scratch, but once you have the condiments in, it is quite easy. Cauliflower rice has been an amazing replacement for rice. Haven't tried the courgette replacement for spaghetti yet. I've lost 4Kg in less than 4 weeks and have cut out all those high GI sugary snacks.

Good luck!

Thank you. It's interesting watching the results of different foods. I'm going for red wine rather than white. Small quantities of any refined carbs. Pulses seem to cause a negligible increase.

We cook everything from scratch anyway. Big family so financially it's a necessity.
