Hi @Itsketotime how is it going?
I'm doing lazy and dirty Keto, so not following the boot camp or anything as I can't afford it and not obsessively tracking macros because it's bad for my mental health.
Got some Keto test strips in the post today and I am in Ketosis now. I'm a geek for any kind of home testing kit but not going to do it a lot just wanted to do it today for curiosity and reassurance.
Feel really calm but also a bit low energy. So like I'm not stressed about anything but also not overly motivated to do anything. I do have a virus/flu anyway though. I decidd if I was going to get the Keto flu then why not do it whilst being home sick anyway.
My appetite has already shrunk. I ordered some Keto fake cake/cookie type stuff for cravings on Monday, now I don't even feel like it just had some Fage 5% yogurt instead with a little bit of liquid vanilla stevia for my sweet treat.
Having chicken wings for dinner, going to have with some greens and mayonnaise. I am a mayo addict at the best of times. I have been having a lot of meat, greens, full fat dairy (especially Gouda), olives and avocados.
Ive done Keto before but always followed a more rigid plan and rebelled. This time it's been easier because I've just been counting net carbs, and having things like burger with mustard and American cheese (lettuce as a bun) yesterday, shop bought guacamole instead of homemade and cold cuts. Including dairy and a little sweetener helps me, though I do hope to quit the sweetener and just have the Full fat Greek yoghurt eventually.
What plan are you following?
