How to eat high protein

I'm struggling to eat high protein and I need help please!

I can't eat eggs so those are completely out, but I can't seem to eat enough meat to hit my protein targets. I had chicken, smoked salmon and beans for lunch, and a protein shake for breakfast, and I've only had 76g of protein and I need to hit 127g each day.

I need to eat 1700 calories each day too, so any help you can give me would be very much appreciated.

TIA

Where are you getting the 127g goal from?

Angbunnyboo · 23/02/2021 17:41

I'm on Team RH and 127g is my protein goal. I can hit my fibre goal but protein is eluding me!

I have the same problem, OP. Never reach my protein goal!

Pandoraslastchance · 23/02/2021 17:55

I'd say another protein shake.

127g of protein a day seems very high, so that's probably why you're struggling.

I don't know your reasons for doing it, but if it's just for weight loss and you're struggling with this, then maybe consider more of a balance of nutrients. It's not sustainable to eat a diet you don't enjoy and just eating foods for the sake of getting extra protein probably isn't going to be fun for long.
